Today, Wacom announced their new Bamboo tablets which claim to be the first to merge multi-touch with their pen tablet technology. The Wacom Bamboo, Bamboo Fun, Bamboo Pen and Bamboo Touch made up the 2nd generation Bamboo family.

i think it should be the same as apple macbook, depends on the application, not all programs response well with touch function. Or how good is the tablet driver that plays an important role on converting the touch signal to digital data.

Well, the multi-touch on tablet is definately more comfortable than the small trackpad on macbook because of active area. You can free hand sketching and handwriting too by using tablet. (The Bamboo Pen & Touch model)
