I hate to say this again, but the countless speed tweaks the VR Network team have been doing seems aimed at speeding up IE and perhaps other browsers like safari opera etc.

Then again thats not so bad but with FF3 and possibly a SH connection crawls be it day/night although pages will never load during peak hours and if they do, its once in a blue moon.

Switch to IE, and its blazing fast. Haven't bothered to try chrome FF2 etc and other browsers but I presume they perform the same as IE.

One may think that its just me having this problem but trials at other places EG ( MF's home DF's home etc ) have yielded rather similiar results with their PCs.

How's the speed with mainsite: vr-zone.com?

newly installed XP, newly installed FF3. no go

sometimes works, but 90% of the time ...never loads

PS : posting here from SP so pretty decent but IE still faster.


paiseh, always forget to test the mainsite


in any event, I usually only use the mainsite for pricelists and they fail to download roughly 60% of the time.

mainsite also seems no different from the forums, will verify again.

again it seems to be a very specific VR-Z + FF3 + Starhub issue here

tried before on newly formatted OS and on other people's PCs as well.

Just wanna add-on.

I'm on Singnet and FF3. I've seen that 400 Bad Request as the banner for like 2 days as well though its gone now. The rest of the site is OK for me.

It happens all the time..

90% of the time VR-Z will crawl and crawl and crawl and require multiple refreshes before the page loads...

yet my hundreds of other tabs load perfectly fine...

You should see IE btw, its a speed monster.

Faster than most sites but still can't beat google though lol


Right now I just think some works needs to be done with the web server VRZ is running....as it seems to hate firefox.....( yeah I know FF is like 10% or less of the market >.> )

FF is 20% now IE dropped under 70%.

I don't have a issue with VRZ at all with FF3 actually, just that bad request over the last week for 2 days.
