when u want to buy a PI car, u get excellent service...and blah blah

after settling the documents and payment, we were promised tat our new car will be handed to us by mid April 07 but till now still no news from him. no calls, nothing, from him.

when I finally contacted him, he even promised to get us a temporary car while waiting for my PI car...but till now I still do not have a car. it has been about two weeks...when i tried calling the company, I was 'passed ard' and no one took responsibility...

i believe i might have to take some legal action and at the same time warn fellow forumers...

nothing too surprising. U should know the pitfalls of going the PI way. Unless the car is physically here in Singapore, you will need to pay first and wait for the car to be exported out of Japan, stay in customs, LTA inspections etc etc etc. Having a temporary car first is a luxury most people won't get but since your SE promised you that, just hold him to that promise.

BTW even buying a civic from Kah Motors need to set you back at least 3 months after putting down payment...

generally sales people are like these: make a quick buck, promise u the sky, once you sign on dotted line, make sure you pay, once you pay, end of their business transaction, you weather your own storm. of cos once a while somebody really nice and makes your day and when that happens, they get my compliments and recommendations note: I hardly ever make the empty promise to any sales agent during the business transaction that he or she may get "other" businesses. I do recommendations rather quietly.

just ask your SE what is the reasonable time you have to wait and if he is going to fulfill is promise in getting a loan car. if not how about compensating you or paying for a rental car? worse comes to worse, be a member of CASE and file a report to them. going to press should always be the final final last resort...

i have considered CASE...my car two weeks overdue already...see when my patience can last.

as for the press, i guess you are right, it will be the final last resort. i think dun hv to go till tat extend yet.

i believe after posting in forum...someone fr the company will definitely 'entertain' me. hahaha

anyway just try to go down and ask them personally. sometimes it's better to ask them in front of other potential customers...heehee

Wah 60k. U mean cash or cash + loan?
Deposit meaning cash u put to secure the pricing of the car.
If less then 1k still can backout. Penalty is 10%. But u have to write in for their manager to sign saying that u wanna cancel due to the delay lor.

Btw wat car u buying?
