Need Advice, Please Help! aranor May 28th, 09, 04:25 PM #1 (permalink)
I just signed for a 2nd hand Avante and i realised the previous owner changed the rims to a sporty looking one that has the word "Tezon" in the center..
I googled "Tezon" and all i get is some Tequila shit..
so does anyone know anything about this set of rims?

Plus, does anyone know if there is a workshop that wants to let me trade these in for a normal set of hyundai rims?I dont want these rims as they seem as though they can only be used with low profile tyres which costs like $1k++ to get replaced!

Thank you very much!

What's the size of the rims ? If it ain't big, not really needed to have low profile tires with them

You will really appreciate rims with low profile tires on them. Unless you're just looking for Point A - Point B travel, and prefer more on comfort

Try requesting a trade in the Hyundai forum ? I'm sure many will prefer to have those "sporty" rims traded with the stock one

There is no brand to it.
They are prob some cheap TW rims.

You can trade it in with others at the Hyundai forums.
They will be more than glad to trade.

Problem is depending on your tire size you cannot anyhow swap low profiles to higher profile tires without changing the size of your rims.

They must go hand in hand, rim size and tire profile.

Avante with 17" rims, i don't think you can fit fat tyres in them. Maby you could just drop by a tyre shop and ask them about it

If i were you, i'll be VERY happy with the rims and tires

Care to post the pic of your current rims ? My advise is to keep your current rim, do you know the profile size of your current rim too ? Why wanna change back to stock rim ? No value and usually heavier that why drivers usually will change their stock rim to lighter sports rims.
