How come my Ram installed is 8 GB but only 1 GB usable ?

Just wondering how come my Win 7 sys info abit kuku...
Cos i only got one slot of 1 GB rams now running... but it say 8 GB installed...

did u enable memory remap in bios?

no leh there is no options for mem remap in bios...
mine is an old board...

wait a min... u meant u only got 1 stick on the mobo which is 1gb?

win 7 gave u another 7gb?

is it ur virtual mem / pagefile?

lol... that is not the serial key dude...
anyway if anyone uses the key i can track them down...

the product key is not in the same series of number...
